Have no fear, the highly anticpated Avengers: Age of Ultron is finally here!

And it is no suprise that the film took Thursday night by storm. The sequel took in A LOT of money on its opening night along and we have a feeling this fire isn't going to die anytime soon!

Although the film didn't break preview night records (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 still holds that record), Avengers: Age of Ultron took in $27.6 MILLION just from Thursday night showings alone. According to CNN Money, the movie beat the record for the first movie, The Avengers, which made $18.7 million dollars it's opening night in 2012.

On the bright side, Ultron did break a record! The film earned $3 million with its IMAX screenings, beating out the past record holder of The Dark Knight Rises with $2.3 million. In addition, the movie has grossed $314.9 million over seas, after its global opening last week. So I guess it's safe to say, The Avengers truly #crushedit.
